Ajoy S Joshi

Founder and CEO

Ajoy is our founder and CEO. It is his vision that has sparked Spirit’s growth from a small start-up company to a leading supplier of OTC pharmaceutical products to the private label retail industry. Ajoy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and MBA from M.S. University in India, where he met his beloved wife, Priti (who just happens to be our Executive Vice President!). Ajoy resides on Long Island, NY with his family and is actively involved in his community and in numerous charitable organizations.

Priti A Joshi

Executive Vice President

Priti is our Executive Vice President. She is the curator of the brilliant flow and rhythm of our production and business people and processes. Alongside her husband, Ajoy, she is a monumental part of our continued growth and success. Priti holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry from M.S. University in India, where she met her husband, Spirit founder, Ajoy Joshi.  Priti has years of managerial experience as Owner and Manager of her own businesses throughout the years.  She is actively involved in her community, especially in the arts and charitable organizations in our area.

Joni Foley

Senior Vice President

Joni is our Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Joni has almost 20 years of experience in the HBC Private Brand space and has called upon every major retailer in the US over her career.  Joni is passionate about Innovation in Private Brand, committed to Private Brand Excellence and is an “out of the box” thinker who tirelessly seeks new methods of communicating with the ultimate consumer.  Joni earned a Creative Writing Degree from New York University as well as a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Adelphi University, where she graduated Summa cum Laude.

Kunjal Joshi

Vice President of Logistics and Accounts

Kunjal is Vice President of Logistics and Accounts for Spirit. He has over 14 years experience in this role and has uncanny expertise in managing and coordinating shipments from Asia. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Electronics and Chemistry from C.U. Shah Science College in India and a MBA in Computers/Finance in Management from Bialystok University of Finance & Management in Poland. He has in depth knowledge of systems, which enhances and expedites our product shipments and overall efficiencies. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family in his spare time.

Steven Brown

Vice President of QA/RA

Steve earned his BS in Pharmacy in 1980 (the last graduating class to get the BS degree, now they all get a PharmD).  He passed the New York State Pharmacy Board exams and was licensed to practice in 1981. After nearly 10 years of retail practice, Steve made the switch to industry and has never looked back.  He started in Quality Assurance, as the Controlled Substance supervisor for a generic drug manufacturer in Amityville NY.  Over the course of a few years, he eventually transitioned to Regulatory Affairs and has worked for OTC manufacturers ever since. Steve believes that Quality and Regulatory form a natural bond that belongs together under one roof.  We are so fortunate to have Steve on our Team!

Archa Joshi

Human Resource and Marketing Manager

Archa is our Human Resource and Marketing Manager. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a double major in Marketing and Management with a Theatre minor from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is also Certified in Inbound Marketing from Hubspot Academy.  In addition to being an integral Member of the Spirit Team, Archa is also finds time to pursue her passion for the Performing Arts. Archa also enjoys anything creative, traveling and – eating!

Anil Manick

Director of Operations

Anil is a seasoned and talented professional with over 15 years of experience. Anil holds a Bachelor’s in Business (BBA) from Queens College. His innovative thinking has transformed Spirit for the better. He started his career in big box retail, moving quickly up to senior management, managing multiple sites and responsible for all day to day operations. He then moved onto the Medical Supply industry, where he also managed multiple sites within the Empire Region and greater New York State area. Anil is an expert in operations policy and procedures. He has maintained multiple GMP, SOP, OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, HIPAA, and FDA regulated facilities. Anil is passionate about people and systems. Through KPI analytics and good old human connection, he has built up districts and regional operations. His skills in inventory control, operations, Six Sigma, and management is diligent and excels above and beyond expectations.

Kamran Chowdhury

Customer Advocate Manager

Kamran is our Customer Advocate Manager.  This means that as Head Advocate, he leads in all aspects of customer service.  Kamran, just so happens to also be a Doctor and received his MBBS in Bangladesh!  He has given lectures on pharmacology and therapeutics and continues to be our “in-house Doctor” today!  We all call him “Kam” and I’m sure if you’re reading this, you’ve had the great pleasure of working with him, as we do.
